i think the violin keeps changing size; it might have morphed into a viola? i don’t know.

i have this mental image of the kids on the asteroid, trying to find things to distract themselves and keep from going completely mental. there’s human and troll stuff just strewn all over the place. and then Karkat picks up Rose’s violin. and she’s about to make some snarky remark (or maybe about to snatch it away before he breaks it), but he’s holding it really gently and studying it. and then he picks up the bow and starts to play. and everybody’s like what the everloving fuck - because it actually sounds pretty nice. and when he’s done Karkat says something about it playing nicely and she must take good care of it, hands it back to Rose, reverts to scowl mode, and wanders off.

why would Karkat be able to play the violin? the fuck if i know. my brain supplies things without context or reason, like, trust me it’ll be great.

You could start it all from just scratch
or tackle it with what’s pre-made
for either one is pretty sure to do the trick!
and if you decide to do the latter
in a moment of quick haste
I do recommend a Betty Crocker mix. For—

(See, you’re not limited to just cakes,
you could do for example apple desserts, bars, brownies, caramel desserts,
cheesecakes, cherry desserts, chocolate desserts, cookies, cream pies,
cupcakes, and all sorts of other options. Go out there, find recipes, and even go seasonal. Go fruit cake!
I mean, for an example: cake alone you could chocolate swirl cake, red velvet, streusel,
banana, russian, candy cane, turkey, ice cream cone, velvet, crumb—just make sure you aren’t allergic to any of these things. Otherwise it makes for very nasty results.

While going for the former option
is for me a bit more fun
you can’t forget to gather more ingredients.
And as you wait for the cake to bake

Comments: Finally, I was able to finish this, a mix that’s been kicking around in my head for awhile. My first finished mix, so I’m quite proud of it, and I hope you’ll enjoy it too. Mindfang’s one of my favourite characters and Mindfang and Dualscar’s relationship is also one of my favs so it seemed natural to make something for them.

I guess you could consider this dedicated to saccharinesylph who was the artist for both parts of the cover. While I’ve never her met her, or talked to her really she’s such a sweet girl and Australia’s gunna miss her. So here’s something to listen to.

Disney animator Heidi Gilbert recently put together this original animatic based on the Wicked musical in an attempt to see about having it done as an animated movie.
