Another Theory

If the personalities and desires of the two people contained within the prototyped sprite conflict too greatly, the sprite may S P I L T into two sprites, each housing the two separate entities used to prototype.

In which case you’d want to go with Tavros+Vriska, Eridan+Nepeta, Equius+Sollux

In Eridan+Nepeta’s case, the conflict with Equius/Solluxsprite would be a partial factor, but Nepeta would no doubt be disgusted by Eridan’s attitude.

Equius would be horrified by the idea of sharing a sprite body with a lowly mustard-blood, and so they’d all end up splitting and we’d have 6 troll sprites floating around.

I don’t think Feferi will be prototyped, mainly because she’s the original mastermind of the dreambubbles. If anything she probably NEEDS to stay out where she can maintain contact with the horrorterrors.

So, have you seen the opposite sign sprites theory? I liked it when I first read it, so I planned on reblogging  it with some of my own thoughts.

My thoughts are generally analysis of the probability of the theory working, and as I pondered it I realised that much like Tavrisprite is going to be suffering a lot of internal conflict, the other two sets of trollsprites would suffer external conflict.

Having Equius/Sollux paired up against Nepeta/Eridan would be terrible, because Sollux and Eridan would only want to get away from each other while Equius and Nepeta would want to spend as much time together as possible.

So, I then considered putting Nepeta and Equius together, therefore creating the ‘ideal’ troll moiraillegence is suppose to create. That left Eridan and Sollux together who, wow, are basically kismesis.

And so I propose the theory of QUADRANTSPRITES

• Tavrisprite ~ Matespriteship
• Soldensprite ~ Kismesitude
• Equitasprite ~ Moiraillegence

(For the designs I went for the closest troll to the sprite colour as the main trait, and the hair, horns and symbol affected by the secondary troll. The naming convention was minor troll prefix then major troll suffix)

Oh, and the fourth sprite is the proposed Jake/Lil Cal sprite needed to fulfil the Lord English theory. Auspitice wouldn’t work in sprite form regardless, as it’s a three part quadrant.

Actually, considering that Terezi’s dreamself was blind as she was, it’s possible that hitting god tier might only heal what the player would WANT healed. I think the fact that Gamzee has the scars even after reached godcodtier implies something interesting about his state of mind.

When Vriska took control of Terezi and forced her to look into the Alternian sun, her dream body moved at the same time, walking outside and looking up to stare into SKAIA.

Considering Prospit and Derse aren’t pitch black, I’m guess Skaia is the equivalent to the sun in that it gives of a large amount of light and will blind you if you look into it.

We know that you can’t use the land quest beds to ascend to God Tier if your dreamself is dead. The transition of this form of ascension is leaving your normal body, and your mind ‘ascending’ to reside in your dreamself’s body. So, if your dreamself is damaged, you would inherit any injuries it has when rising to god tier, though you leave your old injuries behind. (Vriska’s dreamself was in perfect condition, which is why she regained her arm and vision eight-fold) Ergo, Gamzee probably ascended through some unknown method AFTER he got the scars.

At the moment I’m meeting a lot of people who are into anime and video games and cosplay (wow, it’s so unusual for me haha)
